Our Association

The Maritime Heritage Association is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation formed in 1989.

We are dedicated to preserving and promoting the maritime heritage of Western Australia.

We foster national and international interest in our maritime heritage for the benefit of the local community and visitors.

The MHA is an Affiliate of the Royal Western Australian Historical Society.

Aims

* To promote, encourage and support the preservation, restoration and knowledge of Western Australian maritime heritage.

* To inform, liase with and make recommendations to individuals, organisations and government bodies about maritime heritage.

* To invite and encourage public participation in all these activities.

WA Historical Vessels Register

The Western Australian Historical Vessels Register is a record of all the vessels registered in WA between 1856 and 1969. This was produced by Rod Dickson, Honorary Life Member of the Maritime Heritage Association. We have made the record available as a downloadable pdf file.
